Protein balls, or energy balls, seem to be the snacking rage these days. These bite-sized snacks can be enjoyed post-workout or as an on-the-go healthy snack to hold you over until your next meal. Usually made with high protein ingredients like nut butter (peanut butter is very popular) and flax or chia seeds, rolled oats for energy, and something sweet like chocolate chips, honey, coconut, or dried fruit.
Some people even add protein powder to give their protein balls more protein! Protein balls are super versatile and can fit into almost any diet as they can be made gluten-free, dairy-free, paleo, keto, and/or vegan.
There are a ton of DIY recipes online, but we opted to try some from Midi Bites as they have perfected the recipes and there’s no need to go to the grocery store looking for ingredients, not to mention taking the time to actually make the snacks every week. Get 20% OFF with code MEALFINDS >>
I was super excited to hear about Midi Bites as I am always on the lookout for healthy snacks for myself and my family and don’t have time to go to the store and test a bunch of protein ball recipes. I also have a wicked sweet tooth and it’s hard to find sweet healthy snacks that are not packed full of preservatives and sugar substitutes.
All Midi Bites include the 4 ingredients below and other healthy and organic ingredients are added to make each flavor unique.
TIP: These protein bites are free from preservatives and need to be stored in the fridge or freezer! The cold air helps to preserve freshness and prevent them from going bad. It’s totally worth it knowing that they are free from unnecessary ingredients.
Midi Bites can last for up to four to six months when refrigerated and can last five days after they’ve been opened when not refrigerated. Get 20% OFF with code MEALFINDS >>

I loved all of the flavors, but am partial to the Almond because of its strong coconut taste. A close second was the chocolate because who doesn’t love a little bite, or two, of chocolatey goodness after dinner. Best of all no sugar crash or weird aftertaste!
And while we loved the taste and convenience of these protein-packed snacks, they are a bit expensive compared to other protein snacks on the market. Use the offer below to save on your order!
