22 Days Nutrition brings you clean, organic, plant-based protein powder in a compostable pouch (not a tub) that is better for you and the planet.
This limited-ingredient protein powder is free from animal products, GMO’s, soy, gluten, thickening agents, and artificial flavors, colors, or sweeteners.
Protein powder has been used by athletes at all levels to support muscle growth. Eating enough protein is not only important for athletes, it’s important for everyone as it keeps the immune system healthy and is required for your organs to function properly.
Many people can get enough protein in their regular diets, but those who exercise a lot and older adults (as we age we lose muscle) may want to increase their protein intake to help increase muscle strength and lean body mass.
One thing to note, protein powder is classified as a dietary supplement, which means it is not regulated by the FDA in the same way as food or medicine.
For our 22 Days Nutrition reviews, we received The Plant-Powered Set bundle that includes all 4 flavors of protein powder including Vanilla, Strawberry, Chocolate, and Peanut Butter.
This set is $89.99 with free shipping or you can subscribe and save 10%, $80.99 with free shipping. SHOP NOW >>
If you are an avid protein powder user, the first thing you will notice when you open your delivery from 22Days Nutrition is that your protein powder is in a pouch and not a tub. This is by design and, true to their commitment to sustainability, compostable pouches use 88% less material than traditional protein tubs. SHOP NOW >>
The next thing you may notice about your 22 Days Nutrition protein powder is the limited number of ingredients in their powder mixes, just 5 to 7 ingredients total.
Every protein mix contains 100% Organic ingredients and 20g of Plant-Based Protein made from real food ingredients, nothing artificial, for a naturally low-calorie protein drink. SHOP NOW >>
But what really makes them different is what’s NOT in their protein powder. You won’t find animal products, GMO’s, soy, gluten, dairy, lactose, or artificial flavors, colors, or sweeteners. You also won’t find gums or thickening agents either which 22 Days say causes bloating, gas, and digestive discomfort.
I do not use protein powder, but my husband drinks a protein drink every day. He says that the added protein helps him recover after workouts and is also an easy and satisfying snack between breakfast and lunch. It keeps him full, curbs his sweet cravings, and is a better low-calorie snack than other things that he would naturally reach for.
My husband liked that 22 Days Nutrition protein powder contains a limited number of clean, organic ingredients, 20g of protein and that it is low-calorie. Being low in calories is most important to him as he has been on a diet for the past year.
For you, you might be looking for a clean protein powder with a limited number of natural, organic ingredients or you may want to try out a plant-based protein powder. SHOP NOW >>
We tasted all four protein powder mixes and my husband thought that the strawberry and vanilla tasted the best with the strawberry leaving the least aftertaste. I personally liked the vanilla the best followed by the chocolate and found that the strawberry tasted fake and that the peanut butter had a strong aftertaste from the stevia. What we like and don’t like is obviously very subjective and we encourage you to try out all 4 flavors to see for yourself.
And while we didn’t totally agree on taste, we both agreed that this protein powder is much better for you than many on the market.
I’ve found that with any product sweetened with a natural, no/low-calorie sweetener like stevia or monk fruit, an aftertaste is inevitable. This aftertaste seems to bother some more than others and you may like it or not even mind it. I don’t love it and would prefer to mask the taste in a baked good or milkshake. SHOP NOW >>
Tip: If you don’t like the taste of protein powder add it to a smoothie, yogurt, milkshake, muffins, or pancakes.
All four 22 Days Nutrition flavors contain organic pea protein, organic flaxseed, and organic sacha inchi.
Each protein powder pouch is around 15oz, with 15 servings, and costs $25.99 for a single purchase or $23.39 if you subscribe to regular deliveries.
The benefits of each are listed below. SHOP NOW >>

And while my husband and I didn’t agree on which flavor tasted best, with 4 flavors to choose from you are sure to find one (or two) that suits your tastes. As with all products sweetened with the natural sweetener stevia, you may experience an aftertaste like we did, with some flavors having a stronger aftertaste than others.
