The legendary Fulton Fish Market in New York City has been around since 1822 and is the largest and most diverse seafood market in the United States. This iconic market is trusted by the country’s leading chefs and restaurants for the quality of fish they source.
Until recently, you could only purchase seafood from the Fulton Fish Market if you lived in New York City, but now you can purchase this amazing, high-quality seafood online and have it delivered directly to your door.
Best of all, when you purchase from FultonFishMarket.com you have complete transparency into where your fish came from (the country of origin), if it’s wild or farmed, and/or sustainably sourced, as well as nutrition information, preparation tips, and recipes.

We were excited to try more seafood from the Fulton Fish Market as we recently tried their subscription service and loved it. The Fulton Fish Market is not a recurring subscription, you order a la carte from the fresh seafood choices available.
Once you place your order, the Fulton Fish Market experts (aka Culinary Institute of America trained chefs and market veterans turned Fishmongers) select the highest quality fish from the catch in the market, carefully package it, and ship it to your home overnight or 2nd Day. Orders over $99 receive FREE standard 2nd Day shipping.
The Fulton Fish Market boasts the freshest fish delivered to your door and when you look at their process you can see how this is possible. By removing the middlemen, the warehouses, refrigerated trucks, and the grocery stores, they can deliver fresh fish faster. And the less time between the ocean and your door, the fresher the fish is when you eat it. SHOP NOW >>
FultonFishMarket.com is broken up into the following categories: Fish, Shellfish, Other Seafood, Seafood Bundles, Gifts, and Weekly Deals. When you drill down within each category you can explore the fresh fish and seafood currently at the market. In addition, you can browse recipes and cooking videos which we found super helpful when figuring out how to grill our fish.
We love that The Fulton Fish Market website provides transparency into the country of origin, sustainability, whether the fish are wild or farmed, as well as nutritional information on every product page. If you are looking for sustainably sourced seafood, you can simply search ‘sustainable’ for a list of choices. You can also look for the Monterey Bay Seafood Watch and/or NOAA Fishwatch logos on the approved items as well as detailed sustainability information by species.
Want to know if your fish is farmed or fresh? They tell you that too! Every product page clearly specifies if the product is wild or farmed in the product description. SHOP NOW >>
For our Fulton Fish Market Reviews, we ordered one 8 oz piece of fresh, wild #1 Yellowfin Tuna, one 8 oz piece of fresh, wild Swordfish, and one 8 oz piece of fresh, wild Black Cod.
When your FultonFishMarket.com box arrives, your seafood should be cool to the touch, not frozen unless noted on their site. You should store your fresh fish in the refrigerator if you plan to eat it within a day or two, and in the freezer to enjoy later in the week. SHOP NOW >>
We decided to grill both the Yellowfin Tuna steak as well as the Swordfish steak for dinner.
The 2 8 oz portions were perfect for our family of 3.
To prepare I simply seasoned the fish with salt and pepper then grilled for 3 minutes per side.
We served the fish with a squeeze of lemon alongside rice and grilled asparagus.
This fish was amazing! So fresh, no “fishy” taste, and very juicy. The flavor of both fish steaks was mild and sweet and the texture firm. The quality of the fish really came through and we even considered making sushi out of the #1 Yellowfin Tuna because of the quality and freshness. SHOP NOW >>

Next up, the Black Cod! Black Cod is another mildly flavored fish with a softer texture than the tuna or swordfish and more similar to the Chilean Sea Bass.
We’ve had Miso Black Cod in restaurants before and I wanted to give that preparation a try. I Googled recipes and decided to go with one from the famous Japanese restaurant Nobu. SHOP NOW >>
Miso Black Cod Recipe
Three days before cooking the fish, make the miso marinade on the stovetop by combining 1/4 cup sake, 1/4 cup mirin, 4 tablespoons white miso paste, and 3 tablespoons sugar until everything is dissolved.
Then marinate the black cod with the miso sauce in a sealed container in the fridge for 2-3 days.
To cook, just sear on the stovetop for 2-3 min per side and then finish for 5-6 minutes in the oven at 400.
This was HEAVEN! So moist with a rich, flavorful, and sweet miso flavor. My whole family enjoyed this dish. The quality of the black cod combined with the Miso recipe was pure perfection. SHOP NOW >>
